Sources and verification
For schedules, venues, ticket information and broadcast assignments, use official school athletics pages, conference sites, NCAA, College Football Playoff and broadcasters as primary sources. Record the source URL and the date checked.
Original reporting
Write original articles and analysis. Do not copy articles, photos, logos, or substantial passages from other publishers. Attribute direct quotes and link to sources where appropriate.
Bylines and dates
Every news article should show a real author, visible publication date/time and a modified date only when substantial updates are made. Never artificially refresh an article by changing its date.
Corrections
Provide a contact method and update incorrect material promptly. For material corrections, explain what changed and when.
Independence
Clearly disclose sponsored content and affiliate relationships. Never present paid placements as independent editorial coverage.
